Recruiting for 2024, 2025 & 2026

College coaches begin recruiting a year to eighteen months in advance when looking to add players to their roster. Thanks to our fantastic relationships with the coaches, we know the type of player they like and the positions they need to fill. Now is the perfect time to apply!

Director of SSP, James oversees the day-to-day running of the consultancy. Through his extensive network with college coaches and his own personal perspective of being involved at the highest collegiate level – including 2 National Championships SSP clients are able to access unparalleled information and guidance throughout. He is passionate about creating a clear pathway for future student athletes in which they feel supported throughout their college experience with a gateway to transition into the professional game.

Ben brings his recruitment and talent identification background to the SSP team. Being based in New York, Ben is able to provide invaluable boots on the ground for our SSP clients. Currently working and representing professional clients within the MLS and throughout Europe, he is able to bring his knowledge and experience of what players can expect before turning professional.

Ryan who holds a UEFA A license is a graduate of the University of South Wales and is the current Head Coach of Dundee United u18s. Based in the UK and having worked within Womens and Academy football, Ryan is able to bring his expertise in player evaluation and player development when it comes to our student athletes.

Mitch joins the SSP team as a scout and is currently a Sports Scientist at Rangers Football Club in tandem to pursuing his PhD at the University of Birmingham. Mitch brings great experience and knowledge of what it takes to maximize the opportunity the US college system offers and is now applying that to his current role at Rangers and helping SSP during our recruitment process.

A former Dundee United academy graduate, Craig is now based in Mississippi where he is the Head Coach of Mississippi Rush Futbol Club, Head Coach of Christ Covenant Junior High and owner of CJM Soccer Training. A USSF C licensed coach with a Masters degree in Leadership from Belhaven University, Craig has a wealth of experience coaching youth, mens & womens soccer and will look to bring his expertise to the SSP recruitment team.

James attended college in the US having been recruited through a UK soccer consultancy. A D1 student athlete at St John's University (NY). James went through the college system having previously studied and played soccer at Herkimer Community College (NY),contributing to one of the college’s most successful eras in their history.
